Before you email a German Anerkennungstelle, gather a core set of documents that almost every nursing recognition file needs. Ordering certified translations too early for papers that will change wastes money; waiting too long on syllabus evidence delays deficiency replies.
Collect first
- Diploma and full transcript with hours by subject
- Proof of professional licence or registration in the country of training
- Passport bio page matching every certificate spelling
- German language certificate at the level your target state currently lists for nursing
Can wait until the office replies
- Extra references beyond the first two employment letters
- Detailed compensatory measure preferences (Anpassungslehrgang vs Kenntnisprüfung)
- Apartment and bank paperwork — those belong after recognition momentum is clear
Bundesland differences
